With immense sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Dovid Kaminetsky, zt”l, past National Director of NCSY. Rabbi Kaminetsky was the husband of Suri Kaminetsky, father of Rabbi Yisroel and Elisheva Kaminetsky, Shimmie and Beth Kaminetsky, Lisa and Rabbi Yosef Zakutinsky, and Daniel and Heather Kaminetsky.
Rabbi Kaminetsky played a vital role in NCSY as past National Director, and we are forever grateful for him. He held multiple positions of prominence in the world of Jewish education, including most recently as Associate Principal of Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey. He led his family be example in serving Klal Yisrael in everything that he did, and each of his children has contributed immensely to NCSY and to the Jewish community in various leadership roles. May his family have a nechama.
Burial will take place on Friday at Eretz HaChaim Cemetery in Bet Shemesh.
Shiva will begin in Israel at the home of the Liff Family, 10 Rechov HaKablan in Har Nof until Sunday night, June 3.
Shiva resumes Monday morning, June 4, at 1288 Hudson Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 until Thursday morning, June 7.
