We announce with sorrow the passing of our esteemed long-time member and Baal Koreh
Charles Meisels a”hbeloved husband of our member Naomi Meisels.
The levayah will take place today, Monday, September 4, at 11:30 am at Boulevard-Riverside Chapels, 1450 Broadway, Hewlett, and will be followed by kevurah in Eretz HaChaim in Israel on Tuesday, September 5 at approximately 1 pm (based on 11 am arrival of flight LY 0002).
Shivah will take be observed through Sunday morning, September 10, as follows:
Naomi and Moshe will begin sitting shivah immediately at the Meisels home, 803 Cornaga Avenue, Far Rockaway.
Dovid and Aviva (Schreiber) will sit shivah at 16 Rechov HaZayit, Alon Shvut, from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening at 8 pm, and will then join their mother and brother from Thursday morning through the conclusion of shivah.
The family respectfully requests that the following visiting hours be observed for Naomi Meisels: No visitors before 9 am, between 1:30-3 pm, or after 8 pm.
