With profound sorrow we record the passing of Bernard Silverstein, z”l husband of Arlene, father of Rena Gross and Ira Silverstein z”l, grandfather of Elana Gross Lipshitz (’08, Kevin Lipshitz), Josh Gross (’10), Rebecca Gross Bixon (’14), former students, Joseph Silverstein (MS ’11), Ben Silverstein (MS ’13) and Emily Silverstein (’16) and great grandfather of Charlotte Lipshitz (N4). The funeral will take place today, Thursday, April 14th at 1:00 p.m. at Boulevard Chapel in Hewlett.
