It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of Lois Zendler Ginsburg (Leah bat Tzvi), ztl, the mother of Rabbi Dr. Bruce Ginsburg (and his siblings.Dr. Richard Ginsburg of Alabama and Barbara Ginsburg Selman of New Jersey). Besides being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to a large beautiful family, she was a pharmacist in a hospital lab in the 1940″s creating life-saving medications for the patients in her care. She was also a synagogue president in Pennsylvania and an ardent Zionist. We really need people like her today to cure the world of its ills. May her soul be for a blessing for all who knew her and may her family find comfort among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Binnie Stein
