Passing of Velvel Pasternak

With profound sorrow, we record the passing of our member Velvel Pasternak, alav hashalom, beloved husband of Goldie Pasternak, and beloved father of Shira, Mayer, Naava, Atara and Gedalia. Shiva will be observed in Israel until Thursday evening, June 13th – please see shiva information in Israel below. Shiva will continue at the Pasternak residence, 29 Derby Avenue, Cedarhurst, from Friday morning, June 14th, until Tuesday morning, June 18th. ‘May his soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life.’          Minyanim Shacharis:      Friday: 8:00am      Sunday: 8:30am      Monday & Tuesday: 7:00am Mincha-Maariv: 8:20pm Rabbi Hershel Billet Rabbi Shalom Axelrod Steven Myers, President Goldie Pasternak and her children – Shira (Be’eri), Mayer, Naava (Swirsky), Atara (Greenberg) and Gedalia – will be sitting shiva at the Greenbergs home: Nachal Shimshon 17/2 Ramat Beit Shemesh. Shira will be sitting at her home in Jerusalem on Friday: Rabbenu Politi 8/3, Arnona, Jerusalem.
