We regret to inform you of the passing of former HALB founding board member, Dr. Walter Silver a”h, father of HALB graduates Evelyn Kraut (HALB ’68), Ruth Cohen (HALB ’69) & Morris Silver (HALB ’73), grandfather of faculty members Morah Michelle Farbman and Rabbi Eli (& Sheri) Brazil, and great grandfather of HALB students Tzvi Farbman (3rd grade) and Avi Farbman (Lev Chana).
Burial will be in Israel on Sunday, March 24, at Har Hamenuchot. They will be gathering in the parking lot at 6:30pm. (After the arrive of ELAL Flight 008)
Morris Silver will be sitting shiva in California from March 21 – March 26 at his home, 9345 Oakmore Road, Los Angeles, CA 90035.
Evelyn Kraut and Ruth Cohen will be sitting shiva at 655 Branch Blvd in Cedarhurst, on Monday, March 25, from 9:00AM – 4:00PM.
