The Rabbis tell us that he who remains silent, it is as though he acquiesces.
News correspondent after news correspondent, asks those who are enduring terror on college campuses, where are the Jewish groups to counter these rallies? Where is the outrage by gentiles that there are rallies in support of Iran supported terrorism?
THE SILENCE IS DEAFENING TO THE JEWS OF AMERICA AND PARTICULARLY IN NEW YORK, AND IS RAISING QUESTIONS AS TO WHETHER WE JEWS CONTINUE TO STAY QUIET AS SHEEP TO SLAUGHTER IN THE FACE OF REAL THREATS TO OUR LIVES.
When interviewed by the press, Yeshiva University president, Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman stated that the Jews have no issues with the Palestinians, just with Hamas, he was not representing Jews en masse. The Arabs who live in Gaza, I won’t validate their self-made title of Palestinians, elected a government, they elected Hamas, a terror organization. They permitted their children to be indoctrinated with hate. They cheered when innocent Jewish blood was spilled and they did not talk out when we were harmed. That makes them complicit.
Let’s discuss the pro Hamas rallies taking place all over the world. Pro Hamas means that you support their charter which calls for destruction of the Jewish state and all Jews/infidels. The Jews were given the land by the United Nations, and it was the Arabs surrounding Israel which started or ignited war with Israel. They could have lived in peace.
That the college campuses in America permit antisemitic rhetoric under the guise of free speech, is a bastardization of the intellect and dehumanizing.
AND we American Jews, as we focus our efforts on Israel, are dropping the ball on what is going on in our very own backyard. Our silence is deafening not only to the average Jewish American, but to every moral American.
There are millions of dollars pouring into Jewish American organizations, and these organizations are dropping the ball on what is going on in our faces. That Jews are separated from others at Columbia University to demonstrate what a Palestinian allegedly feels, when Jewish students at Cooper Union have to be herded into a library and shut down allegedly “for their own protection,” we American Jews have to quake in fear, for no one has cried out on our behalf.
When George Floyd was killed, local leaders in the Five Towns and Rockaways literally walked arm and arm against bigotry, I see no stand by local black leaders for the death of 1300 tortured civilians.
That we have two representatives in the United States Congress who spread antisemitic hate verbally and on their websites is beyond reprehensible. THAT JEWISH LEADERS REMAIN SILENT, THAT RALLIES ARE NOT ORGANIZED IN WASHINGTON IS EVEN MORE SO.
WAKE UP YOU WEALTHY SLUMBERING LAMBS, the threat to humanity is not thousands of miles away, it is in our backyard and you do nothing, say nothing and organize nothing in response.
Not another cent should go to these colossal mega charities so long as they fail to acknowledge and act and organize on behalf of blatant antisemitism, terrorizing and threats in the United States itself. Let them reach out to members of Congress and local governments and campuses to resolve and STOP IN ITS TRACK the rise of antisemitism here in New York and all over the country. We need a long-term plan to establish Jewish studies which bring Jewish history and culture to the masses to counter what is being taught in universities. As I wrote last week, the dishonest intellectual garbage which is being peddled in this country is no better than the propaganda taught by Hamas in their schools to militarize innocent youth against Israel.
AWAKEN COLOSAL GIANTS TO THE THREATS UNDER YOUR NOSE, REPRESENT YOUR PEOPLE IN FIGHTING HATRED IN OUR BACKYARD.
